How to Plan a Backyard Water Party in Central Texas

2026-10-15

When Central Texas hits 100°F, nothing beats a backyard water party. Here's how to plan one that kids (and parents) will remember.

Pick Your Main Attraction

Our S4 small water park ($60) is perfect for younger kids, while the M2 wet obstacle course ($75) thrills ages 5–8. For a crowd, go XL — the XL2 water slide ($150) is a showstopper.

Set Up Zones

Create a splash zone (water slide), a dry zone (tables, chairs, food), and a chill zone (shade, towels). Our 6ft rectangle tables ($5) and chairs ($1) make setup cheap and easy.

Timing Matters

With 24-hour rentals, pick up the evening before your party for a relaxed morning setup. Pickup hours are 9 AM–9 PM daily.

Don't Forget the Details

Sunscreen station, extra towels, a cooler for drinks (our soda coolers hold 200 cans for $15), and a first-aid kit. A backdrop stand ($20–$40) makes a great photo spot.
